Olya (Olga Pugovka) is an oriental dance artist and teacher based in the Middle East. Nowadays performing at multiple family events (weddings, henna parties, birthdays, company events and more) all over the country for both communities Israeli and Palestinian, participating in special projects for big companies, holding workshops for women and dazzling on the stages at festivals. Performed two years as house dancer of Casino Rhodes, private events in Amsterdam, Belgium, Romania, Istanbul, Belarus, Russia. In present time Olya is a house dancer of Ramada Hotel in Nazareth. You can enjoy her weekly Fridays shows.
Total experience of Olya in oriental dance is 17 years, during these years participation in festivals all over the world, studying from the best teachers of Egypt, Europe, USA, Russia and Israel.
Besides oriental dance Olya is certified in Feldekrais method, yoga and dance improvisation.
Constant improving and learning new body techniques led her to a deep understanding of body work and as a result strong and impressive technique, in addition to that artistic and aesthetic taste in costume choice and generous personality with constant curiosity to know more, to change and to surprise her public. And of course living and performing in the Middle East is an invaluable experience in knowing and understanding of oriental culture, music and mentality.
